Job Description:

• Lead the corporate accounting operations ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting
• Oversee daily accounting activities including general ledger, transaction accounting, and cash flow reporting
• Analyze complex accounting issues and ensure GAAP compliance
• Prepare and review financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
• Supervise, mentor and develop accounting team members in a collaborative environment
• Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader business objectives


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Advanced degree in accounting and/or CPA designation preferred
• 4+ years of progressive experience
• Public accounting experience from a larger firm or Big 4 is preferred
• Must be local to greater St. Louis area
