Job Description:
A vibrant midsize West County law firm is seeking a Transactional Employment Law Attorney with at least 5 years of experience managing client matters. This role requires expertise in employment & labor law, particularly in advising clients on matters such as EEOC claims, workplace discrimination, employee handbooks, policies, and compliance. The successful candidate will provide practical legal advice to clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Responsibilities:
Provide guidance on EEOC claims, including managing documentation and response procedures.
Advise clients on workplace discrimination matters, conducting investigations and formulating resolution plans.
Develop, review, and revise employee handbooks, workplace policies, and employment-related agreements.
Ensure client compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, such as wage and hour laws, FMLA, and ADA.
Support clients with employment contracts, non-compete clauses, and related legal documents.
Deliver employee training sessions on workplace policies and legal compliance.
Monitor updates in employment law and assess their implications for client operations

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
