Job Description:
As a Senior HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing key human resources functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. This role requires a balance of strategic planning and hands-on HR administration, with the goal of enhancing employee engagement and driving HR initiatives that foster a supportive and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and conflict resolution support.
• Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
• Administer and manage employee benefit programs, compensation reviews, and performance management systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including developing and maintaining HR policies.
• Facilitate employee training and development programs to promote continuous learning and professional growth.
• Support organizational change initiatives and foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
• Manage employee data and records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all HR documentation.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee turnover trends to inform retention strategies.
• Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources, with a strong focus on employee relations, talent management, and compliance.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and other HR-related tools.
• Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
