Our E&P Operator client are currently seeking an experienced Wells Technical Assistant to work with them on a 12-month contract position in Aberdeen. The role and its responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:-
Responsibilities
All required administrative work for Wells Delivery team, including; filing, helping prepare reports and presentations, compile HSE data, maintain distribution lists and contact details, and publicise events.
Organise external and internal meetings, and conferences, taking minutes if required.
QA/QC of OpenWells daily operations and other reports, as well as COMPASS survey data input, and the generation of both routine and ad-hoc EDM output reports via OpenWells and DataAnalyser.
Assist with the generation and maintenance of well status, wellhead and Well Barrier diagrams.
Maintenance of the OpenWells NPT and Lessons Learned databases.
Assist with the submission of Company well data to Rushmore and CDA.
Provision of technical support as required, including sourcing data for the creation of posters, drawings, charts, spreadsheets and presentation material.
Maintenance of wells processes, procedures and schedules, including standard documents and templates.
Actively participate in the promotion and development of company Safety and Environment policies.
Experience
Applicants will have experience working in the UK North Sea directly for Oil & Gas Operators.
Relevant understanding of offshore well engineering operations.
Relevant previous experience supporting engineers in a business environment.
Previous experience with Well Engineering software / engineering applications packages
Qualifications
HNC / HND in an Engineering or Business subject would be desirable.
Current offshore survival, medical and MIST certification is desirable.
Can articulate learning and training experiences.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint essential – Visio, Project, Prism and Adobe Acrobat would be beneficial.

Produces work of accurate and presentable quality in the appropriate formats.
Good organisational skills, SMART working methods and can demonstrate personal effectiveness in previous roles.
