Job Description

HSE Technical Advisor (Contract – 9 months with possibility to extend additional 3 months) Hybrid working 80% remote with 20% client facing in U.A.E

Role:
Serve as the HSE technical advisor within a working project group and provide expertise to the client on their digital goals and overall project. Key focus is to provide expert HSE leadership, governance, and technical guidance.

HSE Specific Requirements:
• Deep HSE Domain Expertise
o  Strong understanding of personal safety, transportation safety, process safety, occupational safety, environmental compliance, and leading/lagging KPI frameworks.
• Enterprise HSE Systems Experience
o  Working knowledge of platforms such as SAP (EHS), Enablon, etc.
• Data Integration Understanding
o  Experience with ETL pipelines, API integrations, and harmonising data from multiple siloed source systems.
• Data Governance & Quality Controls
o  Ability to establish validation, and audit-ability frameworks for HSE datasets.
• AI-Driven Safety Analytics
o  Application of predictive modelling and NLP to generate actionable safety insights with explainability.
• HSE Maturity & Health Index Modelling
o  Designing structured scoring frameworks to assess organisational HSE performance.
• Visualisation & Dashboard Strategy
o  Translating complex data into executive and operational dashboards with drill-down analytics.
• Cross-Functional Work-stream Leadership
o  Managing HSE, IT, and operations stakeholders in structured delivery governance.
• Consulting Delivery
o  Strong program governance, milestone tracking, and value realisation focus.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred (multiple discipline types will be considered).

Experience:
• Extensive, Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in HSE with extensive upstream oil and gas exposure
• Proven track record in HSE engineering / leadership or equivalent roles.
• Experience with HSE KPI’s setting and governance within an organisation.
• Safety driven mindset with demonstrated ability to handle complex HSE matters.
• Familiarity with digitalisation of HSE initiatives, associated analytics and visualisation of the resulting figures for corporate level dashboards.
