The skills you have developed in your Year Up experience are equally as valuable in the energy sector.

Energy Auditor
Skills: Ability to write a work plan so weatherization work is conducted safely, effectively, and efficiently.
Responsibilities: Interviews clients to obtain household energy usage data and performs initial home inspection.
Range of compensation: Up to $21 / Hour

Solar Electrical Technician
Skills: Assist with electrical wiring, system testing, and troubleshooting in solar installations.
Responsibilities: Support the installation of solar power systems under the supervision of experienced
technicians.
Range of compensation: Up to $24 / Hour

Field Engineer
Skills: Ability to independently conduct site visits and perform energy audits, collect data, and perform
engineering analysis and energy savings calculations to produce tangible deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Perform various activities supporting the design of HVAC systems.
Range of compensation: Up to $85,000 / Year
