Shipping Supervisor

Location: Mississauga, ON
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Compensation: $65,000 per year + annual salary increase + annual bonus (after one year)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM | 40 hours/week | Paid lunch and breaks

Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently hiring a Shipping Supervisor for one of our manufacturing clients located in Mississauga, Ontario.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shipping Supervisor to lead daily shipping operations and ensure customer orders are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. This role supervises a team of shipping personnel, coordinates schedules, improves operational efficiency, and maintains a safe, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the daily activities of the shipping department.
• Develop and manage shipping schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Plan staffing requirements to maximize manpower and equipment utilization.
• Monitor shipping performance and implement process improvements.
• Investigate and resolve shipping and logistics issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Coach, train, mentor, and support shipping team members.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping area.
• Monitor freight costs and improve transportation efficiency.
• Ensure shipments are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum two years of post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of shipping, logistics, or warehouse experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations.
• Experience coordinating shipments, processing orders, and tracking deliveries.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Manufacturing experience is considered an asset.

Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000 annual salary
