Bandsaw Operator

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm

Compensation: $22.00–$23.00/hour + $1.00/hour Afternoon Shift Premium

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently hiring an Experienced Bandsaw Operator for one of our clients located in Etobicoke, ON.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Bandsaw Operator with previous meat processing experience who is comfortable operating industrial meat-cutting equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a hands-on role within a refrigerated beef and lamb processing facility where you'll safely operate a commercial bandsaw while producing quality cuts to customer specifications.

This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity offering long-term career potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an industrial meat bandsaw or blade stop machine
  • Cut beef and lamb products to customer specifications
  • Maintain production targets while ensuring product quality
  • Complete machine set-up and basic adjustments
  • Perform routine quality checks
  • Follow GMP and food safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Report equipment concerns
  • Wear required PPE and follow safety procedures
  • Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

Required:
• Previous experience operating a meat bandsaw or blade stop machine
• Experience in meat processing or food manufacturing
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work independently and within a team

Physical Requirements:
• Lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Work in refrigerated temperatures (-1°C to +4°C)
• Comfortable around raw beef and lamb
• Overtime as required
