Licensed Millwright (433A) – Night Shift

Location: Waterloo Region, ON

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Compensation: $46.00/hour + $5.00/hour Night Shift Premium

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently hiring a Licensed Millwright (433A) for one of our clients located in the Waterloo Region.

About the Role

• Our client is seeking a Licensed Millwright (433A) to join their Maintenance team on a permanent night shift.
• Reporting to the Afternoon Shift Supervisor, this position is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment to minimize downtime
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production line issues
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and optimization initiatives
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and equipment
• Maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, fans, tanks, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Complete maintenance records and preventative maintenance documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OHSA regulations, GMP standards, and food safety requirements
• Participate in cross-training and ongoing skills development initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Ontario Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) 433A License
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience performing preventative maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift
• PLC troubleshooting experience considered an asset
• Exposure to Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems considered an asset
• SMAW and/or GTAW (TIG) welding experience considered an asset
• Experience working with conveyors and automated production equipment considered an asset
