Location: Ayr, Ontario
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $25.00–$30.00/hour

Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently hiring a 310T Truck & Coach Technician Apprentice for one of our clients located in Ayr, Ontario.

About the Role As a 310T Apprentice, you will work alongside licensed technicians to assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and trailers within a busy fleet environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated apprentice looking to gain hands-on experience, expand their technical skills, and grow their career in a supportive, safety-focused workplace. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
  • Assist with vehicle inspections and help ensure MTO compliance
  • Support troubleshooting of engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and emissions systems
  • Accurately complete work orders, inspections, and service documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support emergency and after-hours repairs as required
  • Work collaboratively with licensed technicians and operations teams to minimize downtime

Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered 310T Truck & Coach Technician Apprentice
  • Previous exposure to diesel or heavy-duty fleet equipment considered an asset
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must provide own tools
