Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician

Location: Ayr, Ontario
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $40.00/hour

Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently hiring a Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician for one of our clients located in Ayr, Ontario.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable 310T Technician to join their growing team supporting a fleet of transport trucks and propane trailers. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with a well-established company that values safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty fleet equipment in a fast-paced shop environment. Candidates with propane experience are considered an asset, though it is not required for the right individual.

This role also includes participation in an on-call rotation approximately every 3 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
• Complete inspections and ensure MTO compliance
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and emissions systems
• Accurately complete work orders, inspections, and service documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support emergency and after-hours repairs as required
• Collaborate with shop staff and operations teams to minimize downtime

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Ontario 310T Truck & Coach Technician License
• Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with propane equipment considered an asset
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
• Must provide own tools

Compensation & Benefits

• $40.00/hour based on a 45-hour work week
  (40 working hours + 5 paid lunch hours)
• Overtime paid after 45 hours
• Up to 4% annual bonus based on company performance
• 3 weeks vacation
• 10 paid sick days after 30 days
• 3 paid personal days after 3 months
