Shipper/Receiver (Forklift + General Support)

Location: Brampton, ON (Airport Rd & Steeles Ave)

Job Type: Temporary with potential to grow into a permanent opportunity

Compensation: $22.50/hour

Schedule: Day shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently hiring a Shipper/Receiver (Forklift + General Support) for one of our clients located in Brampton.

About the Role

This is a hands-on opportunity with a growing warehouse team that is expanding into a larger facility. The environment is fast-paced and highly team-oriented, where employees are expected to support multiple areas of the operation.

This role requires someone who is comfortable being on and off the forklift throughout the day. You will not be operating equipment exclusively — you will also be involved in picking, packing, assembly, and general warehouse support as needed.

A strong attitude, flexibility, and willingness to jump in wherever required are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Crown dock stocker for shipping and receiving
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
• Support assembly and light production work
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse based on operational needs
• Use computer systems for shipping and inventory (UPS/manual system transitioning to new software)
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in shipping/receiving and forklift operation
• Comfortable with frequent transitions between forklift operation and manual tasks
• Strong team player with a “jump in where needed” mindset
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, warehouse systems)
• Good manual dexterity and ability to perform light production work
