AZ Truck Driver

Location:Waterloo Region, ON
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Compensation: $80,000 – $130,000 per year

About the Opportunity

Our client, a large Canadian distribution organization, is currently hiring AZ Truck Drivers based out of Waterloo Region.

Drivers in this role complete multi-stop deliveries to retail locations across Ontario and Quebec and play an important role in supporting store operations while maintaining strong customer relationships.

This position is ideal for drivers who prioritize safety, reliability, and professionalism, while looking for stable long-term employment and strong earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to retail locations across Ontario and Quebec
• Pick up store returns and vendor pick-ups when required
• Build positive relationships with store teams during deliveries
• Complete paperwork and electronic documentation using onboard technology
• Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
• Operate equipment safely and in compliance with transportation regulations

Drivers serve as an important link between the distribution centre and retail locations, so customer service and safety are top priorities.

Physical Requirements

• Some locations require unloading product
• Occasional hand bombing may be required

Qualifications

• Valid AZ driver’s license with Z endorsement
• Clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR
• 1–2 years of AZ driving experience preferred
• Strong safety record
• Ability to work independently
• High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation & Benefits

• Typically, drivers in this role earn between $80,000 and $130,000 annually.
• Earnings are based on a combination of per-kilometre rates, pick-up and delivery fees, flat-rate allowances, hourly rate for downtime or wait time, and other work-related pay components.
• Eligible for the annual bonus program.
