Role: Senior Training Specialist RQ08332
Location: Toronto Onsite 5 days a week/21 College Street
This position is currently listed as "Onsite"; however, the Assignment under this request will provisionally be "Hybrid", working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (excluding breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive, unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment, you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Manager's requirements for the Project you are assigned to.
7.25 hours per day

Must have:
  • The ability to demonstrate practical knowledge, experience and application with using the Microsoft Dynamics CE and/or F&O environment(s).
  • eLearning authoring (instructional design and development)
  • Reside in Ontario Canada
Nice to have:
  • Experience with designing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics-based training courses with authoring tools including Articulate Storyline and Rise; Camtasia, Vyond, MS Office Suite and more.
  • Public sector experience
Scope:
  • Develop and deliver training for CE &FO configured environment
  • Provides Microsoft Dynamics CE – F&O application and product training to both technical and non-technical users
  • Creating content in various formats that serves users with the information that they need to support training and change management
  • Design content to follow standards for inclusive, plain language user-centred design
  • Develops, designs and delivers training material to both technical and non-technical users
Assignment Deliverables:
  • Training Needs Assessment, Analysis and Planning
  • Training Design, Development and Delivery
  • Designing viable approaches to integrate self-paced and instructor-led training with the Training Sandbox (environment)
  • Deliver system (e.g., feature) demos to business users
  • Designing storyboards and developing digital training content from a variety of sources including business processes, system test cases, workflows, etc
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience with using Microsoft Dynamics CE and F&O platforms in business settings
  • Experience with designing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics-based training courses with authoring tools including Articulate Storyline and Rise; Camtasia, Vyond, MS Office Suite and more.
  • Well-versed in facilitation techniques and approaches to distil technical information for non-technical business users.
  • Skilled at leading synchronous, interactive and engaging virtual training sessions in organizations
  • Ability and experience in interpreting data and technical documentation for the design and development of training material
  • Ability to develop role-based training for a various business users within an organization
  • Extensive knowledge in learning measurement and evaluation including administering competency-based assessments
  • Familiar with AODA requirements for both interactive e-learning and written manuals.

Criteria 1: Training Development and Delivery Skills - 40 Points
  • Develop and deliver training for CE & F&O configured environment. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver comprehensive training tailored to Dynamics CE & F&O environments, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
  • Provides Microsoft Dynamics CE – F&O application and product training to both technical and non-technical users. Extensive experience in delivering training that caters to diverse audiences, ensuring comprehensive understanding of application functionalities.
  • Creating content in various formats that serves users with the information they need to support training and change management. Proficiency in creating versatile training content that supports effective training and facilitates change management initiatives within organizations.
Criteria 2: Technical and Content Creation Skills - 30 Points
  • Experience with designing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics-based training courses with authoring tools including Articulate Storyline and Rise; Camtasia, Vyond, MS Office Suite and more. Proficiency in using a variety of authoring tools to design and deliver engaging and interactive Dynamics-based training courses.
  • Designing storyboards and developing digital training content from a variety of sources including business processes, system test cases, workflows, etc. Expertise in storyboard design and digital content development using diverse sources.
  • Ability and experience in interpreting data and technical documentation for the design and development of training material: Capability in analyzing and interpreting technical data and documentation.
  • Familiar with AODA requirements for both interactive e-learning and written manuals: Familiarity with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) requirements.
Criteria 3: Communication and Facilitation Skills - 20 Points
  • Design content to follow standards for inclusive, plain language user-centered design: Expertise in designing content that adheres to inclusive, plain language principles.
  • Well-versed in facilitation techniques and approaches to distill technical information for non-technical business users: Skillfulness in employing facilitation techniques to simplify and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Skilled at leading synchronous, interactive and engaging virtual training sessions in organizations. Ability to conduct engaging and interactive virtual training sessions.
Criteria 4: Practical Experience and Application - 10 Points
  • Demonstrated experience with using Microsoft Dynamics CE and F&O platforms in business settings: Extensive practical experience in utilizing Dynamics CE and F&O platforms in real-world business contexts.
  • The ability to demonstrate practical knowledge, experience and application with using the Microsoft Dynamics CE and/or F&O environment(s): Demonstrated practical expertise and application proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Dynamics CE and/or F&O environments
