Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications for Walmart. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with modern frontend technologies and be comfortable working in a large-scale, enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
Develop responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications.
Build reusable UI components using React.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, product managers, and QA teams.
Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and GraphQL services.
Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Follow engineering best practices for CI/CD, testing, security, and version control.
Contribute to the development of highly scalable applications supporting Walmart's large customer base.
Required Skills
5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
Strong proficiency in React.js.
Strong JavaScript / TypeScript experience.
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
Strong understanding of web performance and browser fundamentals.
Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Next.js / Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
Experience with Node.js.
Experience with GraphQL and API orchestration.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience developing applications for large-scale e-commerce platforms.
Walmart, retail, marketplace, or e-commerce domain experience is a plus.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
