Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift
Location: Edgerton, OH

Position Overview
An established automotive manufacturing organization is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its plant operations team! This role is responsible for the repair, operation, and maintenance of facility equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial electrical troubleshooting and hands-on mechanical repair to support high-volume stamping, welding, and assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and facility equipment used in metal stamping, welding, and assembly operations.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints and control schematics.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production presses, conveyor systems, feeds, and plant equipment.
• Safely manage stored energy (lockout/tagout) to ensure personnel and equipment safety during maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose electrical wiring, controls, PLCs, and electronic issues to minimize production downtime.
• Collaborate effectively with production teams and maintenance colleagues to support shop floor operations.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and practical experience).
• Demonstrated experience with industrial electrical systems and control wiring.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and work from technical prints and schematics.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds as required.
