Account Manager
Location: Kalamazoo
Job Summary:
As an Account Manager, youll serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for assigned clients and temporary employees, building strong relationships and providing support. Youll learn each clients business, get familiar with their plant floor and teams, recruit and interview qualified associates for their open positions, and ensure successful placements through ongoing communication and support. Youll attend onsite visits at manufacturing facilities, walk the plant floor, connect with team leads regarding associates' performance, and build strong client relationships. This role requires someone who is comfortable navigating a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include conducting client visits, onsite tours and orientations to prepare employees for their first day, providing job and performance coaching, addressing questions throughout the employees' assignments, reviewing weekly payroll, and maintaining strong partnerships with clients and associates. Success in this role comes from building trust, making quality staffing decisions, proactively solving challenges, and delivering exceptional service while meeting your key performance metrics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients by proactively anticipating their needs and resolving issues before they escalate.
- Maintain open lines of communication with both clients and employees, ensuring responsiveness and fostering trust.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction, loyalty, and retention, contributing to the companys reputation.
- Handle daily recruiting tasks, including phone screenings and in-person interviews.
- Provide job coaching, support, and constructive feedback to both employees and clients.
- Conduct on-site tours, orientations, and onboarding processes, including drug screens and background checks.
- Make weekly client site visits to collaborate with HR contacts, floor supervisors, and support associates.
- Meet and exceed performance metrics, adjusting as needed based on client and company objectives.
- Audit and manage weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy by coordinating with clients and utilizing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Prepare and present quarterly performance reports to clients, utilizing data, charts, and written analyses.
- Participate in a weekend on-call rotation, providing support as needed to maintain branch operations.
