Human Resources Manager
Location: Ethridge, TN

Position Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for leading plant-level HR operations within a growing automotive manufacturing environment. This role provides strategic and hands-on HR leadership, partners closely with plant leadership, and manages/supports the HR Generalist. The ideal candidate has experience supporting larger manufacturing facilities and building HR structure and processes during periods of significant growth.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead HR operations and initiatives within a growing automotive manufacturing facility.
• Partner with plant leadership to support workforce planning, organizational growth, and employee needs.
• Develop and improve HR processes, policies, systems, and practices to support a growing workforce.
• Lead, support, and develop the HR team, including the HR Generalist.
• Oversee employee relations, recruiting, training, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
• Support compensation, benefits, compliance, and employee communication activities.
• Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on employee relations and HR matters.
• Balance strategic planning with hands-on HR execution in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Help establish the HR structure and processes needed to support significant facility growth.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting a 400+ employee manufacturing facility.
• Experience working in a high-volume environment with competing priorities.
• Experience building HR structure, processes, and practices within a rapidly growing or evolving manufacturing operation.
