Customer Service Coordinator
Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49505
Shift/Hours:
7a-4p OR 8a-5p

Position Overview: A growing organization in the building materials industry is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative Customer Service Coordinator to join their team. This specialized role is responsible for overseeing the replacement window and door installation process. You will serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, homeowners, and subcontractors to ensure smooth scheduling, clear communication, and quick resolution of project hurdles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and finalize installation dates by collaborating directly with homeowners and subcontracted installers.
  • Actively manage and resolve scheduling delays caused by either subcontractors or homeowners to keep projects on track.
  • Address and resolve homeowner questions and product concerns efficiently and professionally.
  • Track project progress, deadlines, warehouse product deliveries, and key installation deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.


Required Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills, with a strength in problem-solving.
  • Process-driven approach to tracking schedules and managing calendar conflicts.
  • Comfortable utilizing and learning various computer software and database systems.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in installation scheduling, service coordination, or construction-related customer service.
