Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49548
Shift: Evening/Nights | 330 pm - 1 am

Position Overview: This role is a CNC Production Supervisor position with a precision manufacturing company. They’re looking for a technical leader with extensive experience in both Lathe and VMC setups, specifically with Hurco, Haas, and Mazak equipment. The role focuses on managing a second-shift team to produce high-quality components with tolerances as tight as five-ten-thousandths. It’s a great opportunity for a senior machinist or current lead who enjoys a hands-on leadership style in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes quality and ‘measure twice’ precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a CNC production environment
• Ability to machine to tight tolerances (down to ±0.0005 in.)
• Proficiency in precision measurement and verification tools (e.g., micrometers, CMM, gauges)
• Working knowledge of CNC controls (e.g., Haas, Hurco, Mazatrol)
• Strong production management skills, including meeting output targets and effectively managing overtime
• Oversight of machine maintenance and coordination of preventative maintenance activities
