Job Title: Web Press Operator / Press Assistant
Location: Battle Creek, MI
Shift - 1st

Position Overview:
A leading organization in the marketing services and print industry is seeking skilled Web Press professionals to join their production team. We are looking for both experienced Lead Operators and Press Helpers who are passionate about quality, innovation, and collaboration. These roles are responsible for producing offset press projects in compliance with strict job specifications while maintaining high company standards for productivity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain web press equipment to produce high-quality offset print projects.
• Coordinate workload schedules to meet customer deadlines while achieving optimum productivity.
• Perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Review work orders and job tickets to ensure all functions are performed to specification.
• Interface with Customer Service and Graphic Designers to receive color match approvals.
• Monitor and manage inventory of press supplies, requesting reorders as necessary.
• Comply with all OSHA safety requirements and AIB food safety regulations where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of web press experience (required for Lead/1st Pressman level).
• Legal ability to work in the United States.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience/on-the-job training.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 30+ lbs and stand for up to 8 hours or more.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with periodic overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or technical degree in Graphic Arts.
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up.
• Proven track record of reliable attendance and punctuality.
