Job Title: CNC Machinist | Lathe

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our second shift production team. If you have a passion for precision, a "measure twice, cut once" mentality, and the ability to turn raw materials into high-quality components, we want to hear from you. You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of CNC Lathes to produce precision parts and assemblies. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical blueprints, sketches, and 2D/3D CAD drawings to understand specific requirements.
• Set up, program, and operate Hurco and Mazak CNC lathes
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges) to ensure all parts meet tolerances
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions
• Perform basic maintenance activities such as PM checks, coolant changes, and filter changes
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition
• Assist in other work areas as needed.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

• 4+ years setting up and programming Lathes. Primarily working with Hurco. DMG Mori or Mazak experience is a plus.
• Machining metal parts holding tolerances as tight as 0.0005 in. (typical tolerances +/-0.002 in.)
• Strong basic math skills
• Ability to lift/push/pull objects up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational program or apprenticeship is a plus
