Job Description:

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting the production floor. This role will focus on troubleshooting production issues, improving efficiency, and launching new products, while also providing technical guidance to teams and contributing to the development of manufacturing processes and new equipment procurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide production support for process and technical issues.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Increase utilization of poka-yoke (error-proofing) methods across production lines.
  • Implement and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) systems.
  • Help achieve department goals and key performance metrics.
  • Troubleshoot production issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Educate and train personnel on new manufacturing methods and processes.
  • Define and document packaging methods and instructions.
  • Lead 5S and Kaizen events to promote lean and efficient operations.
  • Research, recommend, and help procure new manufacturing equipment.
  • Support new product launches and line introductions.
  • Research and evaluate new manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Create and maintain standard work instructions for both existing and new operations.
  • Design and develop assembly stations, fixtures, and machines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • 3D modeling experience (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
  • Experience in lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and Kaizen.
  • Familiarity with assembly operations, torque tools, line balancing, and fixture design.
  • Ability to work as a self-starter in a team environment.
  • Experience with hydraulic, electronics, and pneumatics. Preferred
