Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting the production floor. This role will focus on troubleshooting production issues, improving efficiency, and launching new products, while also providing technical guidance to teams and contributing to the development of manufacturing processes and new equipment procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for process and technical issues.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes to ensure product quality.
- Implement poka-yoke (error-proofing) methods in production lines.
- Manage preventive maintenance (PM) systems and implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production floor issues.
- Lead and participate in 5S and Kaizen events.
- Research and help procure new equipment and technologies.
- Support new product launches and process development.
- Provide training on new methods and processes.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Familiar with CNC programming and tools such as Vericut, Edgecam, or similar.
- Proven experience with CNC fixturing design and tooling.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Experience with Allen-Bradley (AB) PLC programming.
- Background in lean manufacturing, machine automation, and machine design.
- Familiar with camera inspection systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
- Proven experience in process improvement (e.g., Kaizen, 5S).
- Experience with hydraulic, electronics, and pneumatics. Preferred
