Job Summary:

The Facility Maintenance Manager oversees all facility systems—including anhydrous ammonia refrigeration, air compressors, electrical, piping, and building infrastructure—while leading a team of maintenance technicians. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations and drives continuous improvement through proactive leadership and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 3 years of experience in a facility maintenance leadership role.
• 3 years of experience working with ammonia-based industrial refrigeration systems - experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is essential for this position.
• Experience with food-grade warehouse maintenance, including Process Safety Management (PSM), Risk Management Planning (RMP).
• Strong knowledge of all facility and equipment maintenance concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and related computer applications.
• Experience in overseeing maintenance activities, including safety, security, vendor relationships, and industry compliance.
• Experience with in-house and outsourcing of preventive maintenance and repairs of facilities and material handling equipment.
• Completion of the Refrigeration Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA) CIRO or CARO certification is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting and overseeing capital projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Adheres to OSHA and FDA regulations.
• Prior experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) such as Limble.
