Job Title: Line & Assembly Team Lead

Job Overview:

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precise and efficient operation of CNC equipment. Your expertise will help drive productivity while maintaining quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct line leaders and assemblers to ensure smooth operation across multiple work cells.

• Maximize value-added labor while eliminating non-value-added activities in the assembly process.

• Maintain MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system proficiency for the procurement of components.

• Resolve design, sales, and purchasing issues as they arise.

• Conduct 1st piece reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Optimize assembly processes to improve efficiency and meet production targets.

• Monitor and track production output, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.

• Ensure a safe working environment by promoting and enforcing safety standards and procedures.

• Collaborate with the Assembly Team to address challenges in work cells.

• Maintain 5S standards in all areas of the assembly department.

• Conduct random audits for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

• Support the ongoing development of line leaders and assembly personnel through training and guidance.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience.

• Manufacturing or assembly experience. 

• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, with a focus on maximizing efficiency and eliminating waste.

• Proficiency with MRP (Visual) systems and experience in managing component procurement.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple work cells and tasks simultaneously.

• Attention to detail with a focus on ensuring production goals and quality standards are met.
