About the Role

Our client, a well-established player in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to maintain and repair stamping dies. This role is essential to keeping production running smoothly and ensuring die performance in a fast-paced facility.

What You Will Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain progressive, blank, and transfer dies.

• Perform machining, grinding, and fitting of punches and die details.

• Conduct in-press die timing, alignment, and adjustments.

• Handle occasional die setup, feed system adjustments, and timing corrections.

• Apply knowledge of tool steels, coatings, and die life management.

• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

• Uphold safety and 5S workplace standards.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Tool & Die Maker in automotive stamping.

• Hands-on machining skills (mill, lathe, grinder); welding or EDM a plus.

• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools.

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills.

• Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift with overtime as needed.

• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Location and Work Setup

• Onsite at the facility in Alabama

• Full-time, shift-based schedule with overtime potential
