Job Summary: 

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role involves training and developing employees, enforcing adherence to work instructions, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The Supervisor will also be responsible for managing personnel, approving temporary hires, and conducting performance evaluations to foster a productive and motivated workforce. A hands-on leader, the Supervisor will drive operational excellence while ensuring all processes align with IATF 16949 standards and company objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Safety & Compliance:

• Act as first responder for first aid or emergency situations and document all incidents.
• Ensure compliance with PPE policies, 5S principles, and safe work procedures.
• Maintain operational equipment and ensure proper Lockout/Tagout procedures are followed.
• Promote ergonomic awareness through press and cell rotation coordination.

Quality & Customer Focus:

• Train team members on quality policies and customer expectations.
• Communicate quality alerts and coordinate corrective actions for non-conforming parts.
• Conduct Layered Process Audits and ensure required documentation is maintained.
• Verify weight checks and ensure all tools, materials, and components are properly supplied.

Operational Leadership & Team Management:

• Conduct transition meetings with outgoing/incoming supervisors to ensure workflow continuity.
• Oversee daily supervision, task assignments, and employee performance management.
• Develop and implement process improvements for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Approve hiring of temporary employees and oversee disciplinary actions, coaching, and performance appraisals.
