Position: Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to join our team and lead 3rd shift operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all production processes, managing a team of 20–80 employees, and ensuring that production goals are met with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supervise and coordinate daily mixing, baking, forming, and packaging operations.
- Lead, train, and evaluate production employees to maintain high performance.
- Manage scheduling, approve work hours, and address payroll issues.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF, OSHA, and company policies.
- Monitor raw material usage, inventory rotation, and minimize waste.
- Review production schedules and reports to resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized 5S work environment.
- Communicate effectively with employees and management.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
- An Associate’s degree in business or the equivalent real-world know-how.
- A decisive leader who can motivate a team, solve problems on the fly, and keep the vibe positive.
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office; SAP/Kronos experience gets a gold star.
- Willing to work 3rd shift and every other weekend — because bread waits for no one.
