Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner & Scheduler to manage production planning and scheduling activities in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring production schedules, managing materials flow, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, analyze, and execute daily and weekly production schedules.

• Coordinate with sales, engineering, production, and materials teams to ensure alignment.

• Maintain accurate parts and materials inventory to meet production needs.

• Monitor material consumption and address shortages or spikes in demand.

• Optimize scheduling to reduce costs and meet delivery deadlines.

• Generate reports for capacity planning, material yield, earned hours, and downtime.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives including lean manufacturing principles.

• Oversee internal logistics and material flow on the shop floor.

• Coordinate and maintain scheduling parameters with purchasing and finance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Materials Management or equivalent experience.

• 5–7 years in production planning, scheduling, forecasting, or supply chain roles within manufacturing.

• Strong ERP/MRP systems knowledge; CMS experience preferred.

• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience with lean manufacturing tools such as Kanban, JIT, and Kaizen.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
