Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee production scheduling and workflow within a dynamic, artisan manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations or manufacturing engineering and demonstrate a proactive approach to optimizing throughput, reducing delays, and fostering continuous improvement across departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Manage daily and weekly production schedules across departments

• Coordinate with engineering to ensure routing and BOM accuracy

• Monitor and manage work-in-progress to minimize bottlenecks

• Implement and drive process improvements in layout, flow, and labor usage

• Lead daily production meetings and maintain interdepartmental communication

• Collaborate with customer service on accurate delivery timelines

• Identify production constraints and implement timely solutions

• Cultivate a culture of accountability and problem-solving

• Track and report KPIs such as productivity, WIP age, and on-time delivery

Requiqed Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations Management

• LEAN, Six Sigma, or TPS certification preferred

• Experience in factory layout optimization and value stream mapping

• Strong data analysis and ERP systems knowledge (e.g., JobBOSS, NetSuite)

• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
