Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Mold Repair Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves performing repairs and preventative maintenance on injection and blow molds to ensure continuous and efficient production operations. The technician will be responsible for identifying mold issues, executing precision repairs, and supporting mold design improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on injection and blow molds

• Diagnose mold-related issues and conduct precision repairs

• Handle minor mold repairs in and out of injection presses

• Maintain and repair hot runner systems and hydraulic components

• Utilize dry ice blasting and mold flush systems for maintenance

• Interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings

• Perform TIG welding as needed

• Follow company safety standards rigorously

• Collaborate with the team and provide technical feedback during mold design

Qualifications:

• Technical certificate or 1+ year of experience in plastic molding processes

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mold repair

• Skilled in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems

• Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical documents

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Team player with strong communication skills

• Safety-oriented and dependable
