Job Description

We are seeking a Controls Technician with hands-on experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and programming of control systems to ensure optimal equipment functionality and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain control systems, including both hardware and software components.

  • Troubleshoot and repair issues involving wiring, sensors, PLCs, and related equipment.

  • Program and calibrate PLCs and other control devices.

  • Perform system testing and verification to guarantee optimal performance.

  • Document all system activities including installations, repairs, and regular maintenance.

  • Ensure all work meets required safety standards and compliance regulations.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams and other technicians to support facility operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems (PLCs, HMIs, sensors).

  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Physically able to climb ladders, work at heights, and use hand tools.

  • Solid understanding of workplace safety standards.

  • Associate's degree or certification in electronics, instrumentation, or a related field preferred.
