Job Summary: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Value Stream Manager I to oversee and drive operational excellence in our manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. The Value Stream Manager will ensure efficient production while maintaining a strong focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Lead and support workplace culture improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts by working on and within processes to optimize safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Manage budgetary spending, including operational supplies and labor costs, while promoting an entrepreneurial culture.
• Provide strong leadership by motivating, training, and delegating responsibilities to ensure high performance within the Forming Team.
• Maximize equipment throughput and oversee preventative maintenance and process improvements.
• Promote and support employee training and certification to drive career growth, retention, and improved performance.
• Advance Manufacturing Excellence initiatives, such as Lean principles, changeover reduction, and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations to maintain operational standards.
• Oversee all aspects of the value stream on a 24/7 basis to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage the annual operating plan and deploy resources effectively to meet production commitments.
• Develop and implement safety programs to create and sustain a world-class safety culture.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency.
