Job Description

Job Summary: 

The Business Development Manager will help generate new business and drive the growth of the company. This individual will prospect and qualify sales leads, pitch services to new clients, and collaborate with teammates to close deals. We are looking for someone who can cultivate relationships with both potential and current customers, represent the voice of the customer across our business, and communicate proactively with a variety of stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through various methods including networking, email campaigns, cold calling, and attending industry events.
    - Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends,
    competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
  • Qualify Leads: Evaluate the needs of potential clients to determine fit with our services and solutions.
  • Pitch Business: Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective
    clients.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their
    needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close deals
    successfully.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales performance and client feedback to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications: 
  • 3-7 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • 4-year college degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Advanced user of a major CRM system (HubSpot preferred).
  • Technical sales experience (bonus).
