Job Summary:
The main responsibility of an Account Executive is developing business relationships with current and new customers. This position will support current customers and identify and upsell clients in assigned territories. The focus of the Account Executive is to handle any big-picture issues a client faces and act as a link between the company and clients to ensure all the client’s needs are being met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with mid-sized to large clients to increase revenue.
- Pursue relationships with potential new accounts and seek business expansion opportunities with current clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Stay current on products and services being offered and ensure that they consistently meet client needs.
- Support senior account managers working with larger accounts.
- Visit client locations periodically to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal.
- Produce and provide sales quotations and respond to requests for proposals.
- Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.
- Build strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure they fulfill all customer requests.
- Resolve complaints and track all processes pertaining to the client’s desires.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in Salesforce and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure deals.
