Job Summary:

The role involves providing comprehensive sales support for tier-one local customers, collaborating closely with management to prepare quotes, track purchase orders, and follow up on deliveries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inside sales support and direct assistance to identify and manage local customers.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director or senior account manager for sales functions.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and track purchase orders, ensuring timely follow-up on shipments.
  • Review RFQs, CAD files, and product specifications to generate precise quotations.
  • Maintain communication with sales and program management for shipments and customer-related requests.
  • Report on future program opportunities to senior management to support business development.
  • Resolve open commercial issues, such as tool payments, engineering change costs, and packaging recovery.
  • Address cancellation claims and other customer-related financial matters.
  • Ensure effective communication of customer actions and updates across relevant departments.
  • Organize and maintain customer documentation, including purchase orders and agreements, in shared drive formats.
  • Monitor and report on customer quality scorecards, collaborating with plant and quality managers to address quality issues.
  • Compile quotes for engineering changes and evaluate benchmark parts for R&D opportunities.
