General Summary: Join our team as a Sr Sales Application Engineer and play a crucial role in supporting our Independent Sales Representatives. In this position, you will provide engineering expertise to facilitate the sale of custom air handling equipment, from initial quoting to project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Independent Sales Representatives to generate quotes for custom equipment designs, offering detailed cost estimates and performance assessments.
• Assume project management responsibilities upon securing a job, overseeing design submittals, supporting manufacturing with drawings and BOMs, and ensuring timely equipment delivery. Project completion is achieved when the equipment is successfully operational at the customer's site.
• Work closely with fellow engineers to review submittal documents and adapt standard processes as needed.
• Act as the company's specialist for designated components and technologies, staying updated on vendor products and their integration into equipment designs.
• Provide necessary support for assigned design engineering tools and explore new vendor offerings for potential design enhancements.
• Occasionally participate in customer visits and presentations.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software is essential.
• Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• High-level analytical skills are a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to exercise independent judgment and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to travel independently, with infrequent travel expected (less than 10%).
