Job Description

We are a leading manufacturers' representative sales group specializing in the commercial and industrial applied HVAC market. Our portfolio includes a wide range of high-quality HVAC products, including boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps, valves, VRF systems, fans, and air distribution products.

Job Summary: As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating complex technical sales in the HVAC industry. You will serve as a bridge between our technical offerings and our valued clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Consult with existing and prospective clients to assess equipment needs and system requirements.
  • Assist in creating presentations and other materials to communicate product and service details to clients.
  • Provide expertise and support to our sales teams to effectively convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs, which may involve proposing product modifications.
  • Suggest improved materials or products to clients, highlighting the benefits of these enhancements.
  • Offer support to customers and troubleshoot problems related to installed equipment.
  • Prepare product orders and coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Assist in research and development efforts for new products.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sales and customer service abilities with a proven track record of explaining technical products to non-technical individuals.
  • Capability to apply engineering, technology, or related principles to drive product sales.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a field closely related to the products and services offered (preferred).
  • Two plus years of experience in product or sales roles within the HVAC industry required.
