Role: Marketing Generalist
Contract: Part-time Remote Contractor (5 - 20 hours weekly / 20 - 80 hours monthly)
Service Hours: Flexible
Rate: $10 - $12.5 USD hourly (Salary is negotiable based on experience and location)

This US-based accounting and advisory firm supports individuals and businesses with tax preparation, bookkeeping, and Virtual CFO services. They take a hands-on, personalized approach to help clients stay compliant, manage their finances effectively, and make informed decisions for long-term growth.

What You'll Do

As a Marketing Generalist, you will drive demand generation, brand positioning, and client acquisition initiatives for Capital Solutions LLC. This role focuses on building authority in the Financial Planning & Investment space through educational content, targeted campaigns, and high-value outreach to prospective clients and partners. Your core responsibilities will include the following:
  •  Content Creation & Strategy
    • Plan and execute a monthly content calendar centered on financial education, market insights, and wealth-building strategies to strengthen brand awareness and trust across email, social media (primarily LinkedIn), and other client acquisition channels.
    • Create engaging visual content, including infographics, animated short-form videos, and educational visuals for professional audiences. 
    • Draft clear, credible, and persuasive copy, including social media captions, email campaigns, blogs and thought leadership content. 
    • Collaborate on marketing assets for partners, affiliates, and referral networks to expand reach and credibility.
    • Utilize project management and content tracking systems to ensure visibility, organization, and timely delivery of all assets and scheduling. 
    • Client Engagement & Email Automation 
    • Develop and manage automated email and social media workflows to support the full lead-to-client journey, including nurture sequences, consultation follow-ups, and re-engagement campaigns. 
    • Coordinate and distribute email newsletters and resources (e.g., workbooks, guides, educational materials) focused on tax strategies, financial education, investment insights, and company updates.
  •  Audience Engagement & Performance Tracking 
    • Monitor social media channels and engage with prospects and followers by responding to comments and messages. 
    • Ensure all inbound leads are properly routed through defined lead flows and directed to the appropriate sales closer.
    • Maintain a high-quality digital presence that builds credibility and trust among prospective clients and partners.
    • Track and report on key marketing metrics, including engagement rates, website traffic, lead generation, and conversion performance. 
    • Analyze campaign performance and audience trends to provide data-driven recommendations that improve effectiveness and ROI. 
    • Coordinate with leadership to ensure accuracy and consistency in all financial content and messaging. 
    • Ensure all marketing materials reflect brand standards, professionalism, and the company's positioning within the financial services industry.
What You Should Have

Must-haves:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Digital Marketing, preferably within Financial Services, Professional Services, or other high-trust industries. 
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting a North American company in a remote capacity. 
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, with a strong knowledge of marketing fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in video and graphic editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Photoshop, Canva) to produce high-quality static visuals, infographics, animations, and short-form video content. 
  • Hands-on experience with marketing scheduling and analytic tracking tools such as Meta Business Suite and Hootsuite (or similar software).
  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and investment concepts into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand content.
  •  Highly organized, with experience using Trello (or similar project management tools) to manage workflows and maintain visibility across deliverables. 
  • Experience building and executing automated marketing flows and client engagement campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Hands-on experience creating email campaigns, automation flows, and newsletters using platforms such as Klaviyo or similar tools. 
  • Ability to take high-level direction or raw input from leadership and independently develop polished, high-quality marketing assets. 
  • Experience managing community engagement, including responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, and directing prospective clients through the appropriate lead channels.

Nice-to-haves: 
  • Previous experience working within the finance or accounting industry. 
  • Understanding of financial marketing compliance, data privacy, and responsible communication standards for client-facing content.
