Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Contract: Part-time (80-100 hours per month)
Work Hours:
- This role combines flexible sourcing with scheduled interviews:
- 70% of the role is sourcing and screening and can be done flexibly (anytime from 6 AM – 10 PM EST)
- 30% of the role is candidate interviews and must be done during business hours (8 AM – 6 PM EST)
- Candidates can schedule work flexibly within these windows to suit workflow and schedule
Rate: Starts at $6 USD per hour, negotiable based on experience and locationAvailability to Start: ASAP

What You'll Do
We are looking for a detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist who enjoys meeting candidates from around the world and conducting thoughtful candidate evaluations. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, screening, and interviewing high-quality candidates across a wide range of industries and roles. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, excellent candidate judgment, and the ability to manage multiple hiring projects simultaneously. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Talent Acquisition:
- Source and identify top-tier candidates across technology, operations, finance, customer support, marketing, and other business functions.
- Conduct detailed candidate reviews across job boards, internal databases, and the applicant tracking system (ATS) using targeted searches.
- Build structured longlists and shortlists of qualified candidates for assigned roles.
- Partner with Account Managers to understand role requirements, hiring priorities, and candidate profiles.
- Maintain ownership of recruitment pipelines for your assigned client accounts and ensure roles remain active and progressing.
- Review shortlist feedback and ensure timely candidate follow-up (including interviews, assessments, and next-stage evaluations).
- Candidate Screening:
- Develop role-specific pre-qualifying questions to assess candidate suitability.
- Conduct structured video and phone interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, communication ability, and overall fit.
- Ensure candidates clearly understand the role expectations, responsibilities, and any nuances of the position.
- Identify strengths, risks, and potential concerns when evaluating candidates.
- Relationship Management & Team Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with candidates and provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers and internal stakeholders on hiring progress and candidate feedback.
- Stay organized and responsive to candidates and stakeholders across all assigned recruitment projects and hiring pipelines.
- Meetings and Reports:
- Attend daily stand-up meetings at 12 PM EST (Monday–Friday) and provide updates on active hiring projects.
- Submit an end-of-day (EOD) report summarizing sourcing activity, candidate outreach, applicant metrics, and recruitment progress.
What You Should Have
- Minimum two (2) years of global recruitment experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
- Experience sourcing and screening candidates across job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and OnlineJobs, as well as applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Strong experience building candidate longlists and shortlists for open roles.
- Experience conducting structured candidate interviews and evaluating both technical qualifications and overall fit.
- Strong understanding of different role types and hiring market trends across multiple industries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable conducting video and phone interviews.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple hiring projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack and Zoom.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, etc.).
