Role: Community Manager
Contract: Full-time Remote Contractor (40 hours weekly / 160 hours monthly)
Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM PST
Rate: $9 - $15 hourly / $1,440 - $2,400 monthly (Salary is negotiable based on experience and location)

What You'll Do
As the Community Manager (Posting, Events & Member Operations), you will play a central role in supporting the client's daily operations and shaping the member experience. This position focuses on execution, coordination, and clear communication across community postings, events, and member operations. You will ensure that all member-facing content, interactions, and touchpoints are delivered on time, accurate, and thoughtfully presented. Sitting at the intersection of operations and engagement, this role helps keep the community running smoothly and consistently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Member Management & Community Operations
- Monitor new applications, approvals, renewals, and churn notifications.
- Maintain and update the Master Member List (active, churned, free, ambassadors, coaches).
- Support onboarding and offboarding workflows.
- Community Posting & Announcements
- Draft, format, and schedule weekly Circle announcements (Wednesdays at 9 AM PT).
- Share announcement drafts for review on Tuesdays.
- Ensure announcements follow community guidelines (value-first, clarity, safety notices).
- Publish all Circle posts with Hide Meta Info enabled and Truncation disabled.
- Event Posting & Publishing
- Create and publish all virtual and in-person events across Circle and Luma.
- Ensure all events follow our specific guidelines.
- Manage post-event publishing.
- Administrative Accuracy & Coordination
- Update the Events Calendar, Airtables, and internal trackers.
- Monitor guest RSVPs and flag approval needs.
- Identify errors, missing information, or conflicts and escalate promptly.
- Coordinate closely with the founder and internal team to ensure smooth execution.
What You Should Have
MUST HAVES:
- Minimum of three years of experience in Community Management, Operations or Member Support.
- At least 1 year of experience working remotely with clients in the US, UK or similar markets.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a preference for a neutral North American accent.
- Demonstrated ability to interact professionally and empathetically with community members, understanding their needs and providing responsive support.
- Comfortable working with sensitive and private member information.
- Experience planning both virtual and in-person events.
- Very organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Tech-savvy and able to follow SOPs and templates precisely.

NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Experience with Circle, Stripe, ChartMogul, Airtable, Luma, and Slack.
- Background in membership-based or private communities.
- Experience supporting founder-led organizations.
