Role: Events & Communications Marketing Coordinator
Contract: Full-time Remote Contractor (40 hours weekly / 160 hours monthly)
Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM PST
Rate: $7 - $11.25 USD hourly / $1,120 - $1,800 USD monthly (Salary negotiable based on experience and location)

What You'll Do
As a Marketing Events & Communications Coordinator, you will support the planning, execution, and promotion of marketing events and communications that build brand awareness and partner engagement. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple timelines and requests effectively. You will work closely with marketing, sales, creative teams, and external vendors to coordinate events, campaigns, and day-to-day marketing activities, while gaining hands-on experience supporting event marketing, communications, and brand execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Event Support & Coordination
- Assist with planning and executing trade shows, regional events, webinars, and internal meetings.
- Support logistics such as registration tracking, shipping coordination, vendor communication, and onsite materials.
- Help manage event timelines, checklists, and post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate swag, signage, print materials, and event assets to ensure a seamless experience.
- Track event-related expenses and support invoice processing.
- Communications & Content Support
- Assist with creating and scheduling email communications, newsletters, and event promotions.
- Support content creation for internal and external communications.
- Coordinate with creative and digital teams to route requests and manage timelines.
- Help maintain content calendars and campaign schedules.
- Support social media and partner communications as needed.
- Marketing Operations & Coordination
- Help organize and maintain shared folders, assets, and documentation.
- Support tracking of marketing requests and status updates.
- Assist with data collection for reporting (attendance, engagement, feedback, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with sales and channel teams to support event and communication needs.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and external vendors.
- Help ensure brand consistency across all materials and touchpoints.
What You Should Have
Must-haves:
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in marketing, events, communications, or a related role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least one year of experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of comfort communicating cross-functionally across the organization.
- Experience assisting with marketing communications, such as email campaigns, newsletters, event promotions, or internal announcements.
- Experience supporting event planning and execution, including logistics, coordination, and follow-up activities.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, including spreadsheets and shared documentation.
- Experience using project management tools, email marketing platforms, and social platforms.
- Experience supporting multi-channel or integrated marketing campaigns, including basic tracking of performance, engagement, or attendance metrics.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
