Role: Process Improvement Manager
Contract: Full-time Remote Contractor (160 hours monthly)
Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM EST
Rate: $2,000 - $2,300 monthly / $24,000 - $27,600 annually
(Salary is negotiable based on experience and location)

What you'll do

As a Process Improvement Manager, you will lead the charge in transforming organizational processes, driving a 30% increase in efficiency within the first year. Your role involves conducting thorough assessments to identify inefficiencies, designing innovative solutions, and implementing changes that reduce process cycle time by 25% within six months. You'll leverage data analytics to inform decisions and ensure that process improvements align with business goals. With at least five years of experience in process improvement and two in a global remote environment, you'll inspire cross-functional teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction related to process enhancements. Your strong analytical skills, combined with your expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, will empower you to lead impactful projects that elevate the organization's performance.

The responsibilities include:

Process Innovation and Optimization
  • Conduct in-depth process assessments to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement innovative process solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Leverage data analytics to inform process redesign and optimization efforts.
  • Ensure process improvements align with organizational goals and are sustainable over time.
Strategic Leadership
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for process excellence.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members on process improvement methodologies.
Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Harness data analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and inform decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive performance dashboards.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Facilitate collaborative problem-solving and idea-generation sessions.
  • Ensure alignment of process improvement initiatives with business objectives.
Training and Development
  • Design and deliver training programs to equip employees with process improvement skills.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of process documentation and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
What you should have

MUST-HAVES:
  • At least 5 years of experience in process improvement, operations management, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in a global remote or virtual environment for a company in North America, Europe, Australia or the UAE.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative flair for innovation.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities, with a knack for juggling multiple projects.
  • Expertise in data analysis and process mapping tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly across diverse teams.
NICE-TO-HAVES:
  • Experience with specific process improvement software or tools (e.g., BPMN, SIPOC, value stream mapping).
  • Knowledge of industry best practices (e.g., ISO, ITIL).
  • Change management expertise.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Understanding of automation and robotic process automation (RPA) concepts.
