Job Description:
The Credit Supervisor oversees the credit evaluation, approval, and monitoring processes for customer accounts within a fast-paced logistics environment. This role ensures compliance with internal credit policies, mitigates financial risk, and supports cross-functional teams to maintain healthy cash flow and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and approve credit applications, payment plans, and credit limit adjustments in line with company policy.
• Monitor customer creditworthiness using financial statements, D&B reports, and trade references.
• Collaborate with Sales, Clearance, and Finance teams to align credit decisions with operational goals.
• Refine and enforce SOPs related to credit risk, documentation standards, and escalation procedures.
• Train and mentor credit analysts or coordinators, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in credit management
• Strong understanding of credit scoring models, financial analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and credit management tools (e.g., Salesforce, D&B).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for internal and external stakeholders.
• English is a must.
