Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Mexico

Job Type: Permanent

Job Description:

The HR Generalist is primarily responsible for ensuring that all HR-related policies and procedures comply with the standard legal practices.He/she will also be responsible for providing human resources (HR) services daily, delivering sensible responses and resolutions to employee concerns, and providing support for a wide variety of HR-related activities, including, but not limited to: talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and administrative ad hoc tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Recruitment Team during the Recruitment Process, from talent acquisition to onboarding;
  • Maintain digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records;
  • Mediate and resolve mid-level employee problems and issues
  • Assist in the development and administration of compensation programs based on Mexican Labor laws;
  • Review and report employee complaints and ensure accurate and timely documentation of concerns and issues;
  • Facilitate actions to resolve employee issues and escalate complex Issues to the HR Manager
  • Ensure that the HR Database is accurate in terms of the employee profile (position, manager, etc.)
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate HR files.- Participate in continuous HR improvement initiatives and metrics
  • Maintain current working knowledge of Mexico compliance and regulatory concerns, industry trends, and best HR practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in General Human Resources
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican Employment/Labor laws and HR practices.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software applications.-
  • Proven experience in general HR roles such as compensation and benefits, payroll, administration, and performance management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
