Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize our supply chain operations to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Use ERP systems, preferably SAP, along with TMS and WMS, to track and optimize logistics performance.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas of improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with carriers, warehouse teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor logistics performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the point of contact for escalations, problem-solving, and decision-making within logistics operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of logistics activities with overall business goals.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Lead or participate in logistics-related projects, including process improvement initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:
-Proven experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with a strong preference for SAP experience.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
