Job Description

Job Title: General Operations Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the company's freight logistics
  • Coordinating with carriers and customers to ensure timely delivery of shipments
  • Tracking and tracing shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Building loads to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Managing tender processes and negotiating rates with carriers

Requirements:

  • Knowledge across all OTR freight modes: LTL, FTL, Intermodal
  • Experience in Track and Tracing, Load Building, and Tenders
  • Highly proficient in TMS or Microsoft Excel
  • Comprehensive expertise in Carrier Sales/Dispatch
