Industry: Logistics and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
Job Summary: The Contract Recruitment Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing and qualifying candidates for positions within the logistics and supply chain BPO industry. This position requires excellent communication skills as well as a strong understanding of the job market in these industries.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Source potential contractors through various methods such as job boards, social media networks, referrals etc.
Screen resumes received from applicants to identify suitable candidates based on experience and qualifications
Ability to vet logistics subject matter experts in LTL, TL, etc.
Conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates to assess their suitability for contract roles
Negotiate compensation packages with successful applicants
Maintain records of recruitment activities including applicant tracking system updates
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Human Resources or related field preferred
At least 3 years experience either recruiting within the logistics/BPO industry or working in freight brokerage, 3PL management, or logistics operations in a manufacturing/distribution company
Proven ability to source talent using multiple channels including digital platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships quickly
