We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to develop and implement manufacturing solutions based on customer product requirements. This role is hands-on and highly collaborative, involving process layout design, equipment evaluation, and continuous improvement across manufacturing systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in process design, production integration, and ergonomic planning.
Analyze customer product specifications to develop efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes
Design and verify system layouts including joining methods (welding, SPR, TOX, etc.), staging, cycle time, and ergonomics
Collaborate with simulation and robotics teams to validate process viability through digital models
Interpret complex automotive part drawings and technical specifications to support process development
Support quoting and estimating efforts, providing detailed documentation and input on cost drivers
Select and validate appropriate tooling and equipment for manufacturing lines
Evaluate product/process changes for their impact on workflow, timing, and quality
Prepare manuals, documentation, spare parts lists, and progress reports for internal and customer use
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards across all activities
Participate in process improvement initiatives and system optimization efforts
Associate’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field required (Bachelor’s preferred)
1–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, process planning, or systems integration
Experience with automotive manufacturing is a plus
Proficient in reading technical documents, blueprints, and schematic drawings
Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including knowledge of advanced concepts (statistics, variance analysis, etc.)
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and engineering software tools
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with design, simulation, and project teams
Effective communicator with experience creating reports, presenting solutions, and working with customers
